🔹Kemlin Furley has worked with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for nearly 30 years in various functions including programme, policy, communications, emergency response, global partnerships and humanitarian inter-agency coordination.
🔹Prior to her current posting as Representative in Georgia, she spent several years supporting operations in Eastern Europe and worked for UNICEF.
🔹Kemlin has also served as Deputy Representative in Uganda.
The Black Sea Speaker Series is a regional, hybrid virtual initiative of the U.S. Missions in Bulgaria, Georgia and Ukraine to educate youth leaders and emerging voices about key opportunities and challenges impacting countries on the Black Sea.
