On average, Americans look at their phone 344 times a day — that is, they pick it up once every 4 (!) minutes. On average, US residents are glued to their smartphones for 4 hours and 35 minutes daily. The figures for Europeans are slightly lower — about 3 hours 15 minutes a day.

Our phone is a unique source of entertainment and information flow. But who checks this data and decides what exactly you will see in 3 seconds? The film Trust Me raises a severe issue of media literacy, trust in the Internet, and ways to manipulate people.
