🚀 Since the release of Ironman in 2008, superhero films have had an unprecedented run of success at cinemas worldwide. Characters like Captain America and Black Panther have become household names, and it seems as if every few months a new mega-hyped superhero film is released. However, the stranglehold that big-budget superhero films has on the industry has come under fire in recent years from different sides of Hollywood.
